We invest growth capital in companies that enable defossilised, circular, and net-zero material systems, combining financial discipline with deep operational engagement.

The Investment Rationale

Most Scope 3 emissions in agri-food, packaging, personal care, construction, and consumer goods originate from fossil-derived materials and chemical feedstocks. Incremental efficiency gains alone are insufficient to meet net-zero targets.

DDF invests in solutions that replace fossil inputs at the source, enabling downstream products to become defossilised by design.

Focus areas include raw materials, advanced materials, enabling technologies, and production processes that enable industrial defossilisation.

Investment Stage & Geography

Stage: Series C primarily; selective Series C for industrial scale-up.
Geography: Western Europe focus, with selective global opportunities.
